XPRL
The website www.xprl.org has information about XPRL (Extensible Public Relations Language) which is a version of XML that is being designed for use in the Public Relations sector. It is an ‘open’ initiative which software developers can use to create business-oriented programmes for PR. A steering group has been formed to progress the definition and promotion of XPRL and work with other business organisations in related fields. The initiative is supported in the UK by the IPR and PRCA, and in the USA by the PRSA.
